![]() It has red scales, pale tan stripes, two tan teeth, and a single large eye set in a slight glare. SNEK's arcade room is located within a seedy grove that can only be accessed via a portal. SNEK attacks with primarily physical attacks, although it can also cast Toxic Bubble for decent magical damage. Like all Arcade foes, its elemental skills are only 25% elemental, so resistance will do little to reduce their damage. Its base offences and Defence are mediocre, but it has above-average Accuracy and Magic Defence along with great Evade as such, high-accuracy physical attacks will be most effective against it. SNEK's specialty is weakening the party with HP debuffs (either directly or via the side effect of Scorch) and inflicting annoying status effects like Stagger, Poison, and Disable - on higher difficulty levels, it can also inflict Confuse or Doom with the second hit of its Bite attack. When weakened, it will also inflict Berserk on itself to amplify its physical damage output it can only do this once, so the status should be removed immediately with Water or Ice damage. Much like Hydras and PHOENIX, SNEK appears in groups and has the ability to call more SNEKs to replace fallen allies as such, all of the SNEKs must be killed in one turn or immobilized with Stun or Freeze (both of which they strongly resist). The most effective tactic is Annihilate with 3 pieces of status-increasing gear, it's guaranteed to inflict Instant Death on the entire nest. SNEK is weak to the same elements it uses: Earth and Bio. ![]() ![]() It has no elemental resistances, but it is nearly immune to Stun, Chill, Freeze, Doom, and Instant Death it also has strong resistances to Syphon, Bad Luck, Curse, Tired, and Weaken. It is highly resistant to Accuracy and Evade debuffs and somewhat resistant to having its offenses and defenses lowered.
